Francis Hollenkamp was born in 1986 in Cincinnati, OH where he has recently returned to live and work after spending the greater part of a decade in New York City. Growing out of a study of architecture at the University of Cincinnati, he has spent the last 10 years practicing both as a lighting designer as well as an artist. His installation piece "10,000" was exhibited three times in New York and once in Canada between 2011-2014. His more recent collaborative work with Paul Karalambo, "Untitled: American West No. 1", was exhibited at The Carnegie in Covington, KY as part of The Mini Microcinema's collection of screenings there from March-April 2016.
